Netsweeper 6 Update Summary

NSProxy now supports username mangling when ICAP is used
New NSProxy MIBs with auth module stats
BETA Inline Malware, Virus, Badware, Phishing, and scam detection
NSProxy improved HTTP/1.0 request handling when HTTP response contained no Content-Length header
NSProxy fix for handling of HTTPS explicit proxy requests on non-standard ports when decryption was disabled for the hostname
NSProxy FTP protocol support for Explicit Proxy operation. Logging ftp:// scheme and URLs into the logs.
NSProxy can now use the AIA information in certificates to download and fix broken SSL chains for misconfigured Web Servers.
NSProxy Improved WCCP2 support for configurable MASK configuration and allowing for multiple combinations of MASK support to be used.
NSProxy monitoring updates for AIA Downloaded information and FTP protocol monitoring.

The Directory Sync windows have been updated. You can search and display large numbers of 'Search Bases'. The 'Modify Search Base' window has been simplified and fields that previously displayed as buttons now display on a single page

There is a new default deny page layout with placeholders for inserting logos and ads
You can now link an existing Group or Policy Deny Page from any Group you manage to another Group

The 'Services' window has been redesigned so that the server is a collapsible panel containing all the services and their status
You are now able to hide and show specific columns for tables in the WebAdmin
The WebAdmin table headers and footers have been updated and standardized

Simple Group Manager: Lets you quickly create a Group. These Groups have only one Policy and therefore no Policy Event Calendar. However, Category Templates or Custom Categories can be applied as well as Local/Shared Lists and Quick Reports can be assigned
Import Group Account memberships
You can now pause filtering or deny all URLs for a Group using 'Allow All' and 'Deny All' fields
WebAdmin bulk policy assignment to a Shared List for easier administration.

There is now the ability to send an email to one or more Accounts in the ‘Account Manager’
Force password change has been added when importing Accounts

Importing Lists now properly converts Excel files with utf-8 encoding
List History Size and Age limits can be applied per List
A Client IP option allows you to specify the source IP address or IP range in a List
Locking List entries from editing
'Exclude Matching Entries' applies a 'NOT' operator to your List entry filter
A new 'Proceed to List' Action in the List Entry window that will redirect the search to another List
You can now limit Categories that are assignable in individual URL Lists. A new ‘Assigned Categories’ option has been added to the ‘Create List’ and edit ‘List Description’ pages
There is now the ability to control List import errors and duplicate messages

Create Report: This replaces the Report Wizard. Creating a Report can now be accomplished on one page.
The Quick Reports interface has been updated. You can now easily enable and disable Quick Reports using the 'Manage Reports' popup
Reporter IP Range improvement and added support for Between operator when used with IP Addresses

New Policy Shared List APIs have been added
Netsweeper has upgraded to API version 5
New APIs have been added to automate the Group management process: group_set_category_from_template, account_set_description, client_set_comment and account_perms_template_delete
New 'comment' and 'description' fields have been added to the account_query and client_query output
A template_classification field has been added to the account_perms_template_set_list and the account_perms_template_list
