WAgent 3.8 EA Releases and Downloads (February 14, 2019)

Netsweeper is excited to announce the Netsweeper 3.8 WAgent release. This release focuses on stability for Chrome along with an improved error messaging to the system tray for Windows, MacOS, and Chrome. Customers who are activity providing feedback for the Chrome Agent should upgrade to 3.8.

BUG: An error message now displays if there is an error calling the Agent API.  Previously, a generic message 'Failed to assign address' would be displayed in the icon.   This is implemented in Chrome.

FEATURE: The workstation ID for the Chrome/Chromebook sent on Chrome has been added. The device Serial Number is used which is also visible in the Chrome management Google portal.
