Netsweeper is pleased to announce the Netsweeper 3.14 WAgent release. This release contains bug fixes for improved stability, all customers using 3.x should upgrade as we continue with the WAgent improvements.
New Features include:
The WAgent will use the system proxy when set in the environment using for example, set HTTP_PROXY=1.2.3.4:31280.
IPv6 support has been added to the Chrome Agent.
The WAgent and Client Filter can now sort and search the group listing A-Z and 1-9 prior to matching. There is now an option -s prefixes that will sort multiple prefixes.
The login retry now has some random jitter to help space out agent requests when the remote server is under high load. This will make sure that a retry interval of 5 seconds does not cause all agents to run on exactly the same interval after a failure.
There is now support for HTTPS for the What is My Filtered IP and for the WebAdmin API calls.
