Creating an Account
Admin users and, if permissions allow, SysOps can create and manage WebAdmin Accounts. Admins can always create SysOp and User Accounts and, if permissioned, can create and manage other Admin Accounts. with the appropriate permissions, SysOps can create other SysOp or User Accounts. Users do not have permission to create WebAdmin Accounts.
Accessing the Account Create Window
- Navigate to Accounts > Accounts > List and select the Create (+) button to open the 'Account Create' window.

- The 'Account Create' window provides both Simple and Advanced Account creation methods. Choose either the Simple or Advanced tab.

Simple Account Options
The Simple interface forces the user's email address to be the login name. It also removes several Advanced Account requirements. When creating a Simple Account, 'Login Email Address' is the only mandatory field. (Mandatory fields are demarcated by a red asterisk).
Simple Account Fields

Enter an optional first name. This information is not mandatory, but can be helpful for logging and reporting purposes. |
| Last Name |
Enter an optional last name. This information is not mandatory, but can be helpful for logging and reporting purposes. |
| Classification |
Select a classification for the Account: Admin, SysOp, or User. |
| Expiry | This field allows you to set an Expiry date for the Account. |
When you are finished filling out the desired fields, select the Submit button to finish creating the Account.
Advanced Account Options
The Advanced Account Create interface provides the full suite of options as well as several additional fields for your created Accounts. When Creating an Advanced Account, the 'Login Name' and 'Password' fields are mandatory. If you choose the 'No Password' option, the Password fields will be disabled. (Mandatory fields are demarcated by a red asterisk).

This is used External Authentication Accounts, check this to remove the Password fields. |

Create and set the Accounts password. This dynamic field will rate the strength of your password as you create it. |

Verify Password |
Verify the Account's password by entering a second time. |

Classification: |
Select a classification: Admin, SysOp, or User. See: Account Types |

Account Templates: |
You can apply permissions by selecting one or more Account Templates. Each template will be applied in order, setting permissions on or off for any permissions that not already set. |

Expiry: |
Set an optional expiry-date for the Account by choosing the date and time. |
|
Owner: |
Change the 'Owner' of the Account. |
|
WebAdmin Theme: |
Change a theme (interface appearance) for the Account. (You may have a custom or preferred interface.) |
| Profile Manager Theme | This option only displays if User is selected. Change a theme (interface appearance) for the Account. (You may have a custom or preferred interface.) |

Create Account Group Policy: |
If this is checked an Account Group Policy will be created. User Accounts must be linked to a specific group to access Quick Reports for that Group only. When creating a User Account, you should always choose ‘Create account group policy’ if you want these options. |

Assign to all Managed Groups: |
It this is checked it will assign all Groups managed by the logged in user. |
|
Change password on login: |
If this is checked, regardless of password enforcement settings, the user will have to change their password before accessing the WebAdmin. |
| Enforced Categories |
Choose either 'Use system-wide categories' or 'Override system-wide categories'. |
When you are finished filling out the desired fields, select the Submit button to finish creating the Account.
